i've always loved taking photos & having that visually pleasing instagram feed but I didn't start to take photography seriously until the summer of 2023. i picked up my old family camera, a canon rebel eos, & started shooting everything i felt inspired by. i moved to Vancouver Island the fall of 2023 & continued to fall in love with the possibilities. A short few months later i upgraded to a Fujifilm xt10. i LOVED this camera for its size, quality, & price (i bought it for $400cad). It opened up a whole new realm... videography. soon enough I fell in love with filming but the video quality on my xt10 didn't quite satisfy. about a month later I sold my xt10 & bought a Sony a6400 along with a sigma 18-50mm dc dn lens (i had been primarily shooting with kit lenses), which is my current set up. I was so scared to put myself out there, but in December I posted my first youtube video. I received so much love from it & the most genuine and positive messages. I did it scared & it ended up changing my life. It's only been four months since i started showing my work but it feels like a lifetime of helping people. my photography work is under my portfolio, & my video work can be found below.
